Franciscan Missionaries of our Lady Health System (FMOLHS) has adopted the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) as the protocol for exchanging product information with our vendors. The GDSN is an integral part of the GS1 Healthcare US initiative and FMOLHS fully supports its mission to drive forward the use of open, global standards as a means of increasing patient safety, device quality, and cost efficiency.
With these objectives in mind, we require that our vendors hold a valid company prefix provided by GS1 and that all products be loaded to our contracted GDSN partner, Syndigo.
Compliance with this initiative is a business requirement for all FMOLHS vendors. If you choose not to participate, you will be subject to delays when setting up new products on items not loaded to Syndigo.
