Types of syndigo certifications
20+ different certifications are available to meet the needs of learners across your entire organization. Three different certification levels offered are:
Role-based Foundation Certification
Master the basics of various foundational solutions and multi-layered Master Data Experience Management platform capabilities
Skill-based Foundation Certification
Master the basics for a specific role by expanding the required technical skill set
Skill-based Specialty Certification
Deepen your technical skills required for the specialized area and manage industry solutions
Certifications Cycle
All the certifications are valid for one year from the date of certification. The certification validity can be extended for one year through the recertification process. For reference, here’s an example of how the recertification cycle works:
- Certified: Apr 1, 2022, expiration: Apr 1, 2023
- Recertify: Apr 2, 2023, expiration: Apr 2, 2024

The candidate can apply for re-examination if they fail in the re-attempt. The candidate must retake and complete the relevant learning journey before applying for re-examination.

How to track your certification status?
Certification holders are responsible for monitoring their certification status.
Visit the “My Certifications” section in your learning portal that Syndigo university provides to check the status of your Foundational and Specialty certification.
Exam Reschedule
- The candidate can reschedule the exam up to 24 hours before the scheduled exam time. Each exam appointment can only be rescheduled once.
- The candidate will not be able to reschedule the exam within 24 hours of the scheduled exam time.
- In cases of personal illness or unforeseen emergencies, and with appropriate documentation, the candidates will be allowed to reschedule the exam without any additional fees.
- The candidate must contact university@syndigo.com to reschedule the exam.
Exam No-show Policy
- If the candidate does not appear for the exam within 30 minutes after the start of the examination, it will be considered a no-show case.
- In no-show cases, the rescheduling of the exam will not be provided, however, such candidates are eligible for a re-attempt.
- In case of a no-show during the re-attempt, the exam will not be rescheduled and no refund will be made.
Exam Cancellation
- The candidate must contact university@syndigo.com to cancel the exam a minimum of 24 hours before the exam time.
- Canceling your exam less than 24 hours before your examination, or failing to appear for your exam, will result in the forfeiture of your exam fee.
- Candidates canceling 24 hours before the exam will be charged 10% of the exam fee as a cancellation fee.
Re-attempt
- Candidates who fail in the first attempt are eligible for reattempt without making any additional payment.
- Only one reattempt provision will be provided to the candidate who has failed in the first attempt.

- Dedicated personnel from the Syndigo university will be allotted to you to handle queries and will be in touch with you throughout the exam.

After I complete an exam, will I be able to understand how my response is graded?
- You will be provided with a detailed report on how your response was evaluated.
- If you have queries, you can write to university@syndigo.com to clarify within 2 days from the result declaration date.
How will I know if the exam has been updated when a new feature is added or when something has changed in the associated technology?
- You must visit the learning portal regularly and check for notifications.
- You can visit the documentation portal to check for updates regularly.
If I do not pass an exam, can I have a refund?
- If you fail the exam, you will be given one re-attempt provision without any additional payment.
- No full or partial refund will be made if you fail the exam or re-attempt.
What if I am unable to complete the exam within the allotted time?
- No additional time will be allotted.
- You will get a reminder 15 minutes before the exam completion time.
